Research interests

As a Senior Lecturer, I work in research related to responsible tourism business. I have been working in this area since 2004. My research interest are in strategic corporate social responsibility (CSR), stakeholder relations, tourism service design, futures design thinking, action research and tourism/management education. Currently, I am looking into the relationships between responsible tourism business and animal studies.

Teaching interests

I don't see teaching as the passage of concepts from a teacher to students. Teaching, for me, means helping students to learn how to learn, to understand their social worlds and to question their own assumptions and belives. In my teaching, I stress critical reflection and reflexivity. Currently, I am teaching the following courses: Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, Designing Tourism Services, Responsible Tourism Business, Developing Destination Experiences and TourCIM Master Thesis Seminar.
